(July 7, 2022, 12:52 pm)We rented bikes and toured around Jamestown and rode up the Virginia Capital Trail to Chickahominy State Park. The young man working at the marina Tuesday morning was so nice and helpful even though he was the only employee there that day and had a summer camp coming in to rent kayaks. Definitely recommend this place, very convenient and good service and good bikes in great working order.
(May 22, 2022, 9:41 am)Boat ramp has not changed at all, still the same cracked up ramp but is not terrible. Truck and trailer parking is limited but adequate for the use it had Saturday may 21st. It seemed good for the time being as boat ramp was not too busy. One boat loading or unloading at a time is about max for the ramp. As far as limited use there is one floating dock which will accommodate 2 boats while loading or unloading. There are empty slips if you need to tie boat off while waiting your turn. There are other amenities available but I have not used them yet.
(August 11, 2020, 12:11 am)Short visit for a pontoon ride Ghost tour but fun experience. The brewery has some fantastic brews so do check them out!
(July 27, 2020, 3:33 pm)Went here to rent a kayak. Friendly and helpful staff. Rental deals were good. We did a tandem kayak for about 2 hrs or so. First time kayaking. Fun and great arm work out. Easy to maneuver.
(July 7, 2020, 10:52 am)Nice boat ride but the haunted tour is not worth $27 per person. It is an hour of ghost stories that you can look up or read on Ripley's believe it or not. The crew were friendly and nice. As you can see in pics we did not get close enough to see or hear or interact with anything spooky or haunted. Most of the ride is pitch black and you can't really see anything.
