(June 19, 2023, 6:09 pm)This is the sort of bike path you find in The Netherlands and Belgium. Great pavement, signage, places to sit, air pumps every 10 or so miles apart. About 50 miles long, there are restaurants around the midpoint, and a visitors center at Charles City Courthouse where you can refill water bottles Cul's Courthouse Grille has water outside too. I can't say enough good things about it and suggest you donate to support them!
(July 14, 2020, 9:19 pm)Nice paved trail! Scenic. Only did 6.5 miles to chickahominy park. Travels along main roads but still feels like your in nature. Saw deer jumping out of the woods. Nice workout. I can only imagine going all the way to richmond!
(July 6, 2017, 7:45 am)Tons of parking (free), air pump, tools, a place to work on your bike for small repairs, two outdoor benches, and a rain shelter with two more benches. They did an excellent job!
