“This is a review for the Round Hill Aquatic Center. Very well kept pool. Locker room (womens) is decent. A little small (only one shower and only one changing area). The staff have been great. The entry fee is lower than others in this area. Overall I do really like this pool!”

“I went kayaking on a Saturday at the lake. The signage has improved but it is still not well marked. There is plenty of parking and the lake is larger than I thought it was. Putting in can be a challenge because there is no ramp. Between the traffic and the wastewater treatment plant, it can be noisy, but it is still worth the trip if you want to get out on the water.”

“Only gave it a 4 because we went when snow was on the ground and the lake was frozen but the kids still had a blast. We had an impromptu snowball fight, the kids still were able to play on the playground and the bathrooms were warm with toilet paper and paper towels. We hope to return when the water park is open and I can raise my rating. There were many things to do at this park. I would recommend this park for anyone who likes to spend time outside.”

“Nice spot for running or walking with local bakery across the street. Also Magnolia's restaurant for more formal dining however this usually not an option with running attire ????”

“Neat trail along a stream. Some small wooden bridges and a raised wooden walkway. Went in January, trail was extremely muddy (bring a change of shoes). Fun that this is right in Purcellville.”

“Thank you for the warm welcome and overall wonderful experience for our group tea! The fresh, Lavendar-inspired treats were delicious and plentiful. My favorite part was learning about the language of flowers and learning how to make a ‘Tussie Mussie’ posie. Can’t wait to go back and see all the flowers in bloom.”

“Great paths that are well maintained; gives you options for the novice or experienced hiker. The back part of these trails requires a stream crossing but leads to some great “trail less taken” opportunities.”

“Easy to get to, well organized tubing operation. Vests could be better cared for. Tubes and transportation to the river are fine. A downside is the many drunk people (despite the waiver saying alcohol is not allowed on the river, although their antics on the river do provide entertainment as you float along. Website is not always updated with the latest weather/river conditions, so you may not be able to tube where you want when you get there.”
