I love this park! My girl loved looking at the turtles and thought they were cute and we stayed just to watch them for a while. We took a walk around the trails and it was super nice, quiet, and clean. It's a very big park with a lot to offer. Can't wait to come visit this place in the fall when the leaves change!
Absolutely beautiful park with endless possibilities. You can go hiking, biking and even kayaking for $8 an hour. You can also see a variety of wildlife when you come here— from snakes to millipedes and isopods, to ground squirrels and endless turtles, if you’re looking for a place to bring your family or friends to for an eventful day or even just a casual hangout, I definitely recommend visiting Newport News park.
I love Newport News Park. The park is large and well maintained. I often see deer there which I love. Their shelters and restrooms are well maintained also. This is a nice park for large gatherings or just a fun day out!
Beautiful walking trail, nice views of the James River and a lot more private then the main well known areas. It's clean and well kept. You can bring your children and I also see a lot of people with there pets. I love the water and I absolutely love this spot. You won't regret it.
