“These guys were so fantastic! I moved to my apartment today and had everything in a storage unit. Upon moving all my items into the truck, my dad and I realized we needed some help. These guys answered on the first ring and were able to help us that same day, which was incredible considering I called so late in the afternoon looking for help. They had a longer than expected call prior to mine, and kept me up to date on everything going on. They were so friendly even though they were exhausted from a long hard days work, and they definitely have my business from now on should I need this kind of assistance again. They had the truck emptied out and put nicely into my apartment within 30 minutes to an hour, and I had a fully loaded 20 foot truck. I cannot recommend them enough!!! Thank you guys!!!!”

“Positive Update: There have been multiple calls from supervisors at JB Hunt this morning with apologies for the ultimate collapse in their system as previously described: no show; no call. They seem sincere in their efforts to identify the problem and to prevent its recurrence. My rug is due to be delivered tomorrow Tuesday, not Friday, which was the previous best offer. For this appropriate disaster recovery, I will change the rating from two stars to four. Very poor performance. JB Hunt is the company chosen by Ballard Designs to deliver a rug that I ordered. Hunt arranged a delivery time, Friday 12:30-4:30 pm. After rearranging my room to receive the rug and rearranging my schedule to receive the delivery, I waited. And waited. No phone call or notice from Hunt. After numerous calls to Hunt headquarters in Arkansas, at 9:00 pm I was told that the truck from the delivering facility in Norfolk VA had been stuck in traffic, unable to make my delivery and 4 others on the truck. The only remedy from JB Hunt was to schedule another delivery attempt for Friday, a week later, when they are in my area. By the way, the Norfolk facility for JB Hunt is 50 miles from my house -- a one-hour drive door-to-door. ”

The piano was very well wrapped and handled. They had piano dollies, covers, tools and piano board. The whole move finished nicely with our piano hopefully in it s final resting place. “The staff at Life Storage is super helpful and kind. Today, the representative working made sure we were able to get our stuff into the bay before closing. I believe her name was Dale (I'm horrible with names but just in case it's not, it's the woman working the closing shift on 04/24/20 at 5:45 pm). This facility is nice, clean and Life Storage makes it easy to offload your belongings free from the natural elements. It was pouring rain today so it was super convenient to have a hanger bay to offload in. I would recommend Life to anyone.”

My only minor complaint would be that my make up and perfume (over $800 worth) was packed with shoes, which made absolutely no sense. Otherwise, I had a positive experience with this company.”

“We were told that the crew of 5 movers would be here between 8-10, they promptly arrived at 8:05 with 5 crew as promised. John was very professional and Julie was great too, everyone worked hard got our whole apartment packed up with careful attention to wrapping and packaging our delicate items. All done and in the truck by 4:30! We live on the 3rd floor with no elevator and no one even complained at all. Super great crew, bummer others have had other experiences but ours was great!”
