The food was amazing!! Fresh, well seasoned, and great portions. IDK how it only has a couple reviews but it's definitely worth trying. the building looks suspect from the outside and the inside is really small, but with food that great who cares. visiting for another week and I will definitely be back before I leave. I had the turkey wings with Mac and cheese and collards and a side of chittlings.

This is truly a hidden gem in Petersburg. The location may throw many off but don't underestimate this place, the food is absolutely amazing. I got the smothered pork chop with onions and gravy with string beans and mac' n cheese ... F'ing WOW! The Bread pudding is so good you won't want to share.
2nd time going I got turkey legs, which I didn't know they were smothered, but it was a pleasant surprise with sweet potato soufflé and collard greens...another WOW! I almost forgot to mention it comes with your choice of cornbread or roll, water or sweet tea(get the sweet tea), and dessert for an extra dollar. You will enjoy yourself here, I assure you.

The food is delicious. It's a really small place. You don't have to wait a long time for your food. Service is good. $15 and change for a plate but there is plenty on it.

Always friendly and food is good. The prices are very reasonable for a good dinner. I do like my Mac and cheese more cheesy with firm pasta. The cornbread is always really good.
