“Loved this park, best place for the little kids with a lazy river and kiddie pool in the middle makes it fun. Will be coming back again in the summer. The park has soccer fields and picnic areas. Great place for an afternoon run.”

“Miles and miles of trails! When I lived I Stafford without a safe walking route for my dog we went here every other day. Love that I could mix up the routes and see different sights. Eventually I found a way to make a 6 mile loop. Clean park with lots of parking. One thing about this place is the misquotes and ticks get crazy so take precautions!”

“Planed on an overnight stop on my way down to Georgia to celebrate the new year with friends. Truck broke down, stayed 6 days. Nice clean quiet RV park. Nice bathrooms, good toilet tissue. Part of the Prince William forest. All the amenities of a national forest in your back yard. Washington D.C. 30min. Away. This review is for the Prince William forest RV park located in the park. Entrance at 16058 Dumfries rd.”

“Very nice and growing area. One of the nicest new neighborhoods in Woodbridge with the most potential for sure. They have beautiful houses, amazing town houses, and a very well equipped club house. Not to mention the beautiful gold course.”

“The Marine Corps museum is above and beyond my expectations. Need a couple of days to really appreciate all of the artifacts and displays. Definitely take the guided tour. The docents are very knowledgeable and help you to understand the museum better than doing it on your own. Also very thoughtful children's sections.”

“I just moved to the area and this is my go to park on the weekends. I usually take the dog and we walk a little bit of everywhere. The park has some point of interest history spots. Lots of playthings for the kiddies. Several shelters to eat lunch in. There are dog waste stations which are a plus. Overall it is a clean, well maintained park.”

“I go run there with my children. well taken care of, easy to run trails. And it brings you to a playground and a waterpark. Fun and convenient. There are also trails starting from the main path that are more ''wild'' in the woods. Beautiful.”

“Great trail! The middle part of the trail is all along a serene creek. We went closer to 5 and there were a few runners but not anyone else on the trail. There's a simple bridge and then you go by the old suspension bridge. It's really beautiful! Although, it's longer than expected. I think the loop was closer to 2 miles than 1.4.”

“The best thing about this RV park is the after hours check-in option. It's not completely obvious online they have this, so I want to emphasize it. You just fill out a form with your credit card or leave cash for your stay in an envelope and go to a space if the office is closed. It was an amazing option to utilize when we showed up at 2AM, exhausted, with a bunny and kitten who were both irritated to still be traveling! You do need to make sure to answer when they call the next morning though. I unfortunately neglected to set an alarm or turn on my ringer, so I had five missed calls and messages from a number my caller ID labeled as "US Government." Which of course had me thinking they had finally tracked me down for ripping all those songs from library CDs when I was 13. But obviously it was the campground office attempting to figure out how long I intended to stay. Their policy is to place a $20 late fee if you leave after their check-out time of 11AM, until 1PM, after which you pay for another night of stay. I believe there is a grace period after 11AM to noon before the fee kicks in, but it might not be quite that long. The prices were reasonable for the area and for the range of hookup options.”

“We love this park!! Our granddaughters (ages 2 and 4 do also). Slides, horses, etc. just the right size for them. The benches allow Nana and Papa to relax (if necessary :-)) and observe them as they romp around. Almost every day they talk about going to the park. One small problem: one of the two basket swings is broken. Charles and Vanessa Sweat 11/28/21”
