Off the Grid

Stopped here recently, what a wonderful place! Nestled just about in the shadow of the Shenandoahs, we stopped in here for a quick bite. The barbecue was tasty, and the beet salad was great! The folks there were quite friendly and pleasant! One of the ladies of Swedish descent didn't even give me grief for being Norwegian! :-) All in all, a nice find and we will return to try out more delights on the menu! Oh my goodness, don't forget to try the homemade lemon bar! AWESOME!

The best in all ways! A variety of drink selections, all fresh and natural. The pastries are original, and homemade. As far as meals, I've had the Bahn Mi, and the Thai dish (forgot the name). Wonderful! The staff are friendly and welcoming. You feel like you've known them for years. I've brought my friends there after a hike in Shenandoah. And now they're hooked!

We went to a pre fix five course dinner at Off The Grid in early November. The experience was top notch, from soup to nuts. They had very tasty and creatively used local ingredients and a carefully curated menu that showcased the varied types of foods that can be sourced from our area in the fall. The owner was a very bright and cheery individual who was very helpful and personable, I just wish I remembered her name. Overall a very sweet experience and a great date night.

The Smoked Trout Sandwich was to die for and the homemade blueberry muffin was undoubtedly the best I've ever had! We sat out back by the stream and it was so peaceful. This place is a gem!

Wow this place is so so good. Everything is fresh, people are nice, and the taste is amazing. I rarely eat out because I am almost always disappointed, but this place is great. The cold ramen bowl was delicious.
