(February 1, 2020, 6:02 pm)Whenever someone comes into town this is our go to place for them to be able to experience Rappahannock. It’s by far the best pizza I’ve ever had! We love the modern indoor space and the availability of outdoor seating. To top it all off, the staff is so down to earth! I can’t recommend this place enough.
(January 9, 2020, 2:17 pm)After climbing all day at Old Rag... this place was good? A little expensive, but you have to appreciate what their doing (and keep in mind, it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere). Two people will almost certainly not find one pizza to be enough, and the soups were quite small portions as well. I'm happy I tried it, but I'll likely try other places before coming back.
(December 19, 2019, 9:24 pm)I am pleased to say, that out of five different pizzas we tasted. It was a rear experience to have all 5 taste good. Most pizza places have one successful pizza. Tonight all 5 of them were really good. You can taste the fresh ingredients, which makes a huge difference in taste. The "hog and hive," was indeed my favorite. Love the spice of the crushed red pepper. Great job!!
(November 19, 2019, 9:39 pm)Loved the pizza at this place. A hidden gem for sure. Had their Omni pizza, which includes a locally made sausage, onions and sweet potatoes of all things, which all paired nicely together. Loves the chew and taste of the dough on the wood fired crust. They have a small market and bar attached and you can even get some wine from next door to enjoy with your pizza. Some of the best within 100's of miles for sure.
(October 18, 2019, 9:16 pm)Pizza was good. We got the Herb pizza. We added chicken. We didn't realize it didn't have tomato sauce on it but we all thought it was good anyway. Salad and soup was good. The only suggestion I would make would be to brew your own tea. Neither my daughter nor I liked the bottled tea they sell. Set up of the restaurant was fine and we liked the general store that is attached.
