“SERVICE: Build a Custom Home My wife and I have had a most pleasant experience working with Sadler Building Corporation. We expected building a custom home to be complex and complicated. We knew that there would be a lot of moving pieces that would be difficult to follow, but thanks to Sadler's deliberate process and working with us closely, we always felt that we were aware of what was happening every step of the way. Even though we were located in Northern Virginia as our Suffolk, VA home was being built, we found that telephone meetings and just a few trips to the area were sufficient to keep the momentum going, keep up with things, and make appropriate and timely selections and decisions. We were pleasantly surprised to find that when we came to Suffolk to meet with Ed Sadler and Brad Walker, they devoted those days to us entirely, which gave us time to make carefully thought-through decisions without being rushed. They both are extremely knowledgeable about home construction and were able to address all of our questions and issues either immediately, or knew where to go to get the appropriate answers. They also were able to make recommendations that we found to be extremely helpful. Throughout the process, the Sadler Team was very personable and polite and a pleasure to work with. This attitude also was apparent when we visited the worksite where John, the Site Superintendent, would greet us and provide a spot progress report and projection of scheduled work. If we ever build another home in an area where the Sadler Building Corporation does business, we definitely will go to them to have the work done. “I was the only customer when I ordered and it still took over 5 minutes to get my food. I actually tipped the carhop because she was polite, but she never came back to check on me. Order was accurate, fresh, and hot. The boom box is an awesome deal, worth the $5. Had the cheeseburger and Chicago dog. Love those peppers and pickle on the dog. Their cranberry sweet tea is definitely the best drink they offer. Bathroom was clean, but they had some generic latch lock on the door, instead of fixing the door handle.”

“We love our orthopedic specialists here. The only issue is that the address is wrong. I've contacted Cooks Children's about it and no one has responded to me so I'm posting here so others can see. The parking lot for the specialist clinic is not in the same parking lot as urgent care. Specialist and urgent care are in the same building but the parking and seperate entrance for the specialists is off of Prestige Street. The doors for urgent care don't open till 11am. So if you have a specialist appointment before 11am, you have to go in the specialist entrance which is on the other side of the building from urgent care. I hope this helps someone because it was really irritating strolling my toddler who was in a body cast all the way around the building because Cooks put the address and entrance in wrong both on Google and on their website. The staff also get calls about this all the time and they have to spend too much of their time explaining it to people on the phone when they are also checking in patients. That waste of time on the part of management and administration is really disappointing especially when I'm not the only one who has tried to address this issue. Cooks.....get it together....fix the address....fix the entrance location on maps.”
