Shine Yoga Va Beach

I have been going to Shine Yoga for 3 years now and am so appreciative of how much stronger and flexible my body has become. These teachers are fantastic and one can tell by the way they teach that this is their passion! Today, I’d like to give a shout out to one teacher in particular, Robert. Robert teaches the Sunday morning class at 9:00. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been to his class but, I came away feeling completely stretched, lighter and at peace. The funny thing is, I didn’t realize this until a couple of hours after the class, it was that much of a smooth transition and it stayed me throughout the whole day. Thank you Robert for sharing your passion with us, it benefits us 10 fold! I will become a regular on Sunday mornings, you are amazing. -Terry

Jen at Shine Yoga is seriously a miracle worker! I have gone to her multiple times to get B.E.S.T treatment and it has made such a positive impact on my life. Each time I have it done I feel more focused, relaxed and clear headed. I can't recommend the BEST treatment and Jen enough.

My first introduction to yoga over 4 years ago and it still has such a special place in my heart. Shine is a fantastically warm and energetic space. JENergy alone became something I looked forward to every Wednesday to refresh my week! You are welcome to be silly, patient and loving with your body. It is a great studio for beginners and anyone looking to branch into self care !!! They offer special events and energy healing as well. I have found this studio to be such a unique experience to any other in Virginia Beach or even in NYC. I have noticed that as yoga becomes trendy it is treated more as something to check off on your to do list but it lacks the community that can really ground your practice. You are allowed to be as active or passive in the class as you wish at Shine, either way you leave with learning something new. On top of this it is one of the most affordable studios I have yet to visit. And all in all , price aside, Taking classes at Shine is just another way to invest in yourself!

Shine Yoga has been such a blessing in my yoga practice. I feel so fortunate to have found a space where everyone from the instructors to the patrons are genuinely friendly. Everyone is so welcoming, and the positivity held within this space is palpable as you enter the studio. The instructors are knowledgeable, and encourage you to make adjustments to make your practice suitable for your own body and needs. After taking classes at Shine Yoga for a month, I have seen a great improvement in my overall well being. Not only in my physical strength, and flexibility, but mentally as well. There is a wonderful sense of calm and accomplishment I feel each time I leave this studio. I would recommend Shine Yoga to anyone who wants to start yoga as a beginner, is an experienced yoga enthusiast, or if you're somewhere in between. There are classes for all levels! SHINE Yoga is the perfect name for this studio, because each time I enter, I can't help but feel brighter! 🧘‍♀️☀️

I have been at Shine for just over a week now, and I have to say I am blown away by how I am feeling. In just 8 short days, my body has grown physically stronger and I have found that I am able to do more than I did on day one. I think what has surprised me most though, is the effect that Shine has had on my mind and emotions. I am more at peace with myself and with the world, and genuinely more happy...which is crazy because I didn't consider myself an unhappy person before. Jen and all of the teachers have such an amazing mindset, and though they all have very different styles of teaching, their mission is the same and their heart is in the right place to help all of their students grow. I truly feel that I was meant to find Shine at this point in my life, and I couldn't be more grateful.
