“There is no such thing as a perfect school. Every institution has it's unique challenges. Chesapeake Bay Academy, however, is a perfect fit for my son. Small class sizes, friends that accept him for who he is and understand/share many of his learning differences, a compassionate and approachable staff, and a safe learning environment all are attributes we hoped for in a school. CBA has all of this and more. It is a warm, welcoming community for students and parents, alike. My husband and I are wholeheartedly invested in Chesapeake Bay Academy through volunteerism in the Parents' Association, the Athletics Department and the Annual Auction. Our son loves his school, his teachers, being a member of the JV and Varsity basketball teams, and the bonds he has made with classmates. We are grateful every day for Chesapeake Bay Academy.”

“We are SO happy we found Trinity preschool 6 years ago! The positive environment the director and teachers have created shows the moment you walk through the doors. Small class sizes provides the perfect student to teacher ratio. Being an early childhood teacher, I was very picky when looking at preschools for our oldest son, and I knew right after our tour that this was the place all our children would attend. It prepared both my son's for Kindergarten, and they have great memories from their preschool days. Field trips, picnics, and musical programs create opportunities for the whole family to be a part of the school. I cannot say enough about how much we love Trinity Preschool. We are so excited our youngest daughter will be attending there in the Fall!”

“Returning to work after 4 months after my son was born, sending my son to daycare had my stomach in knots. Specially not knowing anybody and no family members in the area because we are new to the state of Virginia due to my husband's navy orders. After visiting and interviewing over 15 daycare providers I came across Ms. Susan I NEVER felt more comfortable leaving my son . I know when he is with her he's in great hands, safe and loved and she's truly cares about his well being, and when he gets home after her care he is all smiles and happy. Her home feels homey and clean. I totally recommend her to anybody looking for home daycare Ms. Susan is the person to go.”

“This is our first summer attending Golden Slippers. I had many friends recommend Golden Slippers Dance Academy and then I seen that they were running such a great summer rate that I had to enroll my daughter. They have several locations throughout Virginia Beach and tons of hours and variety of dance classes. They even have a good amount of apparel and accessory inventory on sale so you don't have to search else where for leotards, skippers, tap shoes, etc. All the staff members have been so nice answering any questions I had. My daughter loved her ballet/tap instructor. Overall top notch customer service. The reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because it looks very outdated and could be renovated or updated. In addition, I don't like not getting to watch my daughter practice. I'm not sure if this is normal for dance but my daughter does gymnastics and other sports where I can watch her practice. However, they have great rates, lots of locations and hours and very pleasant staff members you can't beat that.”

“My son has been going here for 2 years and loves it. Every day they are doing something fun, usually with a theme, and they get "outside time" every day (weather permitting). They are diligent with Covid precautions every morning and I feel safe bringing my child there. They also post pictures of their daily activities on a private FB page which is always nice to see!”

“School is what you make of it! Take AP and Honors courses, participate in extra curricular activities, do your best in class and on the SAT and apply for scholarships so that you are well prepared for your next step in life - COLLEGE. High school is not the end. Have fun, and handle your business. This school is one of the best of all 6 high schools I attended from 2009-2013; I graduated from this school with a full academic scholarship to college, and credits that transferred over thanks to AP courses. The teachers were great, the school lunch was actually decent, though expensive, and the extra curriculars were fun!”
