The food here is absolutely delicious. Our party had the Street Tacos al Pastor, chimichangas, and the Chicken Primavera. Everything came out perfectly. Street tacos al pastor shown in photo.
This place is amazing!!! Seriously I could eat here every day. The food is always tasty and hot, service is super friendly, the atmosphere is cozy. I will pick this place over all other restaurants for the space alone. The place can be packed, but you can still easily have a conversation in the room and enjoy your food. I have never felt rushed or forgotten.
waitress was really sweet . food was good portions were kind of small though
La Tolteca is advertised as a little restaurant with a big menu, and it is! The decor is colorful, and service is good. The food is delicious, and portions are very generous. The Arizona Quesadilla was served with delicious guacamole and was huge! Their salsa is excellent too.
Coming from San Antonio, TX, you expect a good Mexican restaurant. This restaurant does a really nice job of meeting those expectations. The chips that were served were really good and authentic, but I think the salsa could use quite a bit more kick. It tasted more like Pace from the grocery store, but that seems to be typical in this area. My meal was very delicious and the atmosphere felt like my typical visits to Mexican restaurants.
