“Wonderful beyond expectations! My wife and I dined here on 10/8/2022. We expected good, then discovered wonderful. The first-impression ambience was so peaceful, and the inside temperature was comfortable (both in contrast to our lunch elsewhere). The staff was friendly without being intrusive. The menu had exactly what we wanted: prime rib for me and a seafood combo for her. The steak was perfection, and honestly the best I've had anywhere in many years. The seafood combo included flounder (which isn't great everywhere, but was outstanding here), succulent scallops, really big shrimp, and hearty crab cakes. Sides were yummy too: veggies and fries for us. Even the iced tea had a legitimate tea flavor without being too strong. Everything was so wonderful that we had to try the dessert. We were too full thanks to the generous meal portions, so we took home a slice of coconut cream pie. It did not disappoint. We are tourists who drive ~150 miles to Williamsburg one or twice each year. We've had good dining experiences at local restaurants here. Fireside Chophouse is the first one to make our "must do" list for return visits.”

“I have been to this Wendy's a few times and have not been disappointed. I ordered the $5.00 biggie bag with the bacon cheeseburger. I started to eat the fries and couldn't stop until they were gone. They tasted so good hot and fresh. Even though I got the regular size, the fries seemed never-ending. The fry's container was overflowing. The burger had fresh lettuce, nice and crunchy. The cheese was melted just right, and the bacon was hot and crispy. The employee at the window was professional and seemed like she enjoyed her job.”
