It had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a coffee machine, I mean it was just like staying at an expensive Airbnb but it was at a great price. Highly recommend. This is a gem.”

“I was told that arm pain was due to a pinched nerve in my neck and I knew that my neck and shoulders had been tight for awhile so, having time on a Sunday afternoon, I looked around Williamsburg for an impromptu massage. Such a thing is hard to find. But I found Healing Lotus Massage through Google and was able to book a massage for that same day through their website. It is a small place in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Inside it was warm and soothing. After filling out an intake sheet, I was led to a massage room, where soft music was playing. Gin then worked on me and did a very thorough job, massaging from the top of my head to my feet (not in that order). Most of the time was spent on my back and shoulders. My muscles may be sore tomorrow, but that will be a good thing. They really needed to be unknotted! Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely go back.”

“Under renovations so no fridges/microwaves in the room. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Rooms are discounted online due to renovations so it’s definitely a bargain with the location!! Rooms were very clean! Can’t wait to see what they look like when they’re finished. Met Rachel the assistant general manager and Alexis this housekeeping manager at the front desk. They were super helpful and answered my many questions. Alexis was kind enough to show me a room before checking in.”

Every single instructor she had treated her like a star and boosted her confidence. I have Centerstage to thank for her larger-than-life love and endless passion for performing. Professionally, the instructors go above and beyond to nurture the students. Specifically, in the Musical Theater and Technical Production (MTTP) class, their skill and quality of instruction is priceless, and ultimately culminates in breathtaking performances at the end of the class term. I would describe the energy of my daughter and her classmates as magical and electric. In my opinion, the magic comes from the students being able to express themselves as artists in a nurturing and celebratory atmosphere.”

“The Yorktown bookshop is a family favorite. My kids are all grown but we all still love gathering Yorktown and the bookstore is a central location for us to meet because it's the one place we know that we will all want to go before leaving to go home. The assortment and the changing inventory keeps us coming back. We have some treasures that we have found there and the prices are very reasonable, which we didn't expect considering its location. Very friendly staff. The owner and his daughter make you feel welcome and are quick to answer any questions that you might have. They are very knowledgeable about inventory and just very personable.”
