Michelle, the owner, has been in business for over 25+ years in the Hampton Roads area. I've shopped with her since 2000 and she was in business before I ever found her store. I've seen her store grow through the years, double in size, move to a new location that was twice the size of the old one, and develop her unique hybrid model. “This place, a mixture of old and new, is divided between 2 buildings in the same shopping center. Both are worth going into, although I preferred the building with the old gas pumps outside. My understanding is that antique stores are having a hard go of it and like many places nowadays has bottled jams, peanuts, fudge, new crafts, reproductions , new jewelry and clothing mixed in. Neither place is heavy on real antiques or even used items, but I found some unique and cheap Halloween items that were only $1.50 and $3. The other building had a Halloween room filled with wonderful unusual Halloween items, some gigantic although this section was more expensive. Since I made a purchase I was happy. Employees were also very nice and helpful. The Williamsburg area has a reputation for being overpriced but this place was not.”

“Me and 2 friends visited today. John was an amazing tour guide for the farm. Very knowledgeable, friendly, passionate about his work, and down to earth. We arrived about 40 minutes late due to circumstances and it was not a problem. There was also a torrential downpour that caused us to be stuck in the Alpaca barn for about 30 minutes. It did not matter and he made sure we still got the full experience. The animals seem incredibly happy and well kept and their practices are as humane as I have seen. We learned a lot about the animals, got to hand feed many of them, and had an amazing time.”

Same as others, if I see a Ross I try to stop in no matter what the location. This store has a lot of shoes, it seems more than at other Ross stores. “I love shopping here. They always keep the product stocked fully, even though there’s a lot of traffic and people that come through there. They’re always putting out new clothes and items. The staff is pretty friendly here. They’re a little weird about the purses when I bought two, I felt as if they thought I was going to steal them or something by how they acted. Also, I noticed anything that I buy that has like a compartment or zipper is always checked for things in the inside of it. I’m sure they’re like that with everybody but it just makes me feel kind of a negative way, considering how often I’m in and how much money I spend here. I do would do wish they would more carry larger sizes then they do. Everything is small, medium, some large in hardly any extra large. I don’t know if the larger sizes sell out first or they just don’t carry them. It’s harder for me to find larger sizes beneath plus size like large or extra large. Overall, I love coming here , and will continue to do so often especially for holiday decor, like fall, when they have a fantastic selection of household decorations.”

“Had an excellent experience at this Brooks Bros. We were in looking for a shirt for my future husband to wear to our wedding in May. At first we knew we would need to have measurements taken, and we were looking for an Ivory shirt. Unfortunately the sales person told us that Ivory shirts were no longer available. We were waffling back and forth and the sales person was so patient with us. He helped us with measurements knowing that we might not even purchase a shirt. In the end he assisted us in looking around at our options and we found a GORGEOUS light blue shirt that both my FH and I really liked. He stuck with us through trying on, and our various conversations when many other genuinely good sales people would have left. He had exceptional taste and pointed out lovely ties that were a beautiful compliment to the shirt as well. I am truly impressed by the entire experience. The shirt was expensive, but it fit to a T, it was a beautiful light weight Cotton which will be perfect for a May weekend and the shirts they sell last forever if you take good care of them.”
