I was in a dark place when I went there, but your Drew, and all the staff, nurses,techs, and Doctors were so wonderful, not only did they help me everyday, they gave me hope, that someday, I would be able to walk again without help. I would recommend Sheltering Arms Institute to anyway that wants to be independent. I stayed there from 6/11/2022 to 7/1/2022. Everyone that I came across in every Dept. and category was amazing! “Kathy Green is amazing! The office/practice…is too, but…. They have some of the best people there, but just cannot get anyone in to an appointment on time. I arrived the requested 15 minutes early, but wasnt seen until 35 minutes past my appointment time. I did tell the tech that this will stop happening when the practice is required to pay “US!” For our time. Again though, Ms. Green herself is top notch! The 5 stars ONLY reflects Kathy Green, not the practice as a whole. That, needs work. The medical staff though are really really good. Thumbs up for Dr Mayes as well!”

I was told to come in immediately and in less than an hour from the time I called, I had a full root canal completed and was on my way out the door! “Riverside Hospice took great care of my brother. Ms. June was his hospice nurse's aide. She was calm, loving, caring, and knowledgeable. Ms. June was dedicated to giving my brother top tier care. She had a warm spirit. It showed that she loved her job and her patients. We were blessed to have her as our brother's hospice nurse's aide. The nurses, were also caring, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. They listened and were compassionate. They were approachable and accessible as well. Joel, the Bereavement Counselor, was compassionate and calming also. He was instrumental in helping us to understand all aspects of the transition process. He explained the grieving process and the affect it would have on the family in the future. We have received literature, as he promised, that has also helped the family heal without our beloved brother. The Chaplin, was amazing as well. My brother loved God and spirituals and she was aware of that. On a visit, we walked into the room. She was praying for our brother and singing. Here voice was amazing. A few weeks later, we called her to come on July 17, 2018 as he was transitioning. She talked, prayed, and walked our brother and the family through every stage of his transition. Her voice was so soothing, spiritual, and Godly. She made his transition one of the most amazing things I have every witnessed in my entire life. Thank you, Riverside Hospice for caring for my brother as he transitioned. The Smith Family”

I literally cried when I got the letter he was leaving it devastated me! NEVER have I had a relationship with a doctor other than my pediatric cardiologist like I did with Dr Sahu. Soft spoken , cAred about my health and well being . Concerned also . He always explained things to me so I would understand . Without him my daughter wouldn’t be here as safely as she got here given my CHD . I’m really considering going to Virginia to stay under his care ! Ty Dr. Sahu ! You will be missed !
