“I just completed my appointment with Dr. Long and I’m already feeling better. I started going to Dr. Long 5 years ago then moved to California. For a few years I’d travel back to se her then decided it might be more economical to find a replacement doctor in CA. After two years under the new doctors care I knew something was wrong. I just did not feel as energetic and started to see my waistline expand. Puffy is a good description. I became so frustrated that I made the decision to go back to her to see her. I got my bloodwork done in CA per her lab request so she’d have it for our visit. Everything was off, Testosterone, Progesterone and Estrogen! No wonder I was feeling bad! Just knowing I have a prescription to correct makes me feel great. I highly recommend Dr. Long to all women who are tired of hearing from your doctor that you are doing good for your age! Dr. Long will help you feel like your in your 20’s again. You still have to eat right and exercise but if you want to live a FULL life she will help you.”

“I had the wonderful experience of having my first set of Kaiser appointments at the Alexandria location. My entire family is new to Kaiser and my children needed to be seen in this COVID environment. Before my appointment a nurse called to verify my children's appointments, asked questions, and told me about needing more than 1 adult for the appointment to maintain social distancing. It was a bit hard finding the parking garage but we made it. We were stopped on the first floor to be screened and check in (the call the day before was helpful so we knew what to expect). Two of our masks were changed because we had valves. Kaiser provided the masks (I am glad as we remained protected). The elevators were super high tech and my children loved it. We were called soon after arriving on the 4th floor. The technician (I believe her name was Shanika-sorry if misspelled) was sweet and a joy. She was pleasant and maintain a positive attitude, even with my difficult toddler. Both my children saw Dr. Sarah. She was the best. She took her time with each one of them, asked various questions, and got my children on track from a medical standpoint. I really appreciate the care and hard work of the Pediatrics department and I am happy to say I am a Kaiser member.”

The staff encourages video calls and family emails. We enjoyed participating in the mother's day parade, too. They've been safe and considerate in scheduling resident visits. The check-in process was smooth and organized. The people dealing with residents on the memory care unit are heroes on a regular day. Now, they are super heroes, and we can't thank them enough for taking such great care of mom!”

“When my prescription for my CPAP machine was placed, I spoke with them and they said 7-10 days. It took almost a month. When I did call to follow up, I held on for 11 minutes before someone came on the line to tell me again it would be 7-10 more days. Really? The lady that helped me when I went in to pick up the machine was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly, hence the 4 and not less.”

“This is the only doctor’s appointment I physically came to in person (vs virtual) since COVID because I love Dr. White, Cindy, and the team so much! Their new office on the Johnston-Willis Campus is very easy to get to, with easy parking, and the team was welcoming and friendly. My appointment was exactly on time, and Dr. White was compassionate and knowledgeable as always, taking time to sit with me. My prescription was sent in within minutes of me leaving. They also respond to refill/auth requests from my pharmacy in a timely manner as well. Can’t say enough positive things about this practice!”
