They're incredibly kind and have always shown our dogs love and respect especially when it's time to say goodbye. Staff is friendly and they're knowledgeable. Prices are fair enough (relatively speaking in terms of how much a vet can be), and they're always willing to work within your budget/ help you go on payment plans if need be. “When I find a small business, I really like it. I love to promote them. This time it's Barker Animal Hospital. I hated my dog's old vet, so anytime I had to take her, it was a chore. My mom recommended Barker because she's been taking her dogs there, and they have a Wellness Program where you pay monthly (billed monthly for 12 months) and get provided a bunch of services for your dog (unlimited exams, shots, teeth cleaning, nails, testing, etc., etc. - seriously it's a lot of good services). I was always resistant to taking my dog to the vet unless I really needed to because vet bills can become really expensive, even for a checkup. Many of Barker's services are proactive to keep your dog safe and healthy, and you can get unlimited visits if you need them. I wish I would have gone to them earlier so I could have prevented some teeth issues I'm having with my dog right now, but at least now I have a good vet that I can trust and love going to. Bottom line, if you're like me and hated taking your dog to the vet because it's can become really expensive, I really recommend signing up with their monthly service.”

“We had to put our sweet girl Danica down after she lost her battle to liver cancer. I know the LVT and other support staff thought that they were doing what was right by immediately injecting Danica with meds to make her comfortable, however, that is my choice to make. Our sweet girl was taken outta my wife's arms, taken behind doors where we couldn't go and then we had to wait about 20mins later to see her. We would have preferred to have been with our girl the whole entire time in her last moments. It was a heartbreaking experience for us, but all of the staff did everything they could to make sure it didn't get any worse and we appreciate that.”
