I don't think this park gets enough credit for the area, but it is FANTASTIC!! There is just about everything here for those who seek a Lil bit of open field for throwing the ball to your favorite friend, to walk/run to your favorite tunes, to exploring samples of the areas fauna/flora, and those who just need a break from the mundane world out there... COME HERE!!!
An extremely nice park! Plenty of space for leisurely activity. A great place to bring your dog or kids. Lots of open space and picnic tables scattered about; a path leading all throughout. Multiple entrances to the park from residential areas. There are also volunteering opportunites for the park through the city of Vancouver.
Great park with lots of open space for sports and games. Volleybalk and soccer going on. A basketball court, playground and more. Appreciated how the group playing volleyball all the time are respectful and keep their language clean with all the kids around.
This place has a good quality play structure for kids as well as a community garden and a few nice walk paths that loop through some quiet trees. It's gotten more busy since they added schools nearby, but it's still my favourite nature spot to run to when I just want a break from crowds & concrete. It's a good place to unwind.
