“We anxiously awaited Respira Adult Care's opening as we came from a really bad care facility. My husband Tim who has ALS and can't move from the neck down moved in as soon as they opened. We've been here a year now. Melanie the owner, is the most genuinely caring person you'll ever meet. Communication is always open and her attention to all my husband's needs is impressive, to say the least. She has successfully created a warm and friendly atmosphere here, not only for us but for her staff who clearly enjoy working here. Watching the camaraderie is a pleasure. Tim and I always have a chuckle when they occasionally break out in song while cooking. We highly recommend Respira Adult Care. The owner and staff are great, we like to call them our "A-Team". The rooms here are spacious and they provide a big screen tv and dresser. You can have your room painted any color you want. They have their own specialized transportation van, wanna go to the mall? no problem. The house is beautiful and kept clean. Have a favorite snack? they'll stock it for you. Reece's peanut butter cups are my husband's. As a visiting spouse coffee is available and they gladly made me a sandwich a few times when they knew I was hungry but didn't want to cut my visit short. I really appreciated that!! We get to decorate the room for the holidays. When we put up a Christmas tree and it made him so happy he asked to keep the tree up all year and they let him. I also like that he has not only a call button he can use next to his cheek but, an Alexa next to his bed that he can ask for a certain song to play in the house so the nurses know that when that song plays that he needs something. They also set up Alexa to turn the lights on or off by his voice. Tim enjoys the hummingbirds so they hung two bird feeders outside his windows so he can watch them come and go. The food is really good here so I'm just going to say two words; homemade and yum. We feel so fortunate to have a room here and Praise the Lord often for it. We Highly Recommend Respira Adult Care!!! “The Sunset team came out on a Sunday on short notice and did a wonderful job cleaning my carpets. I love the way that they use Bio kleen products and carpets don’t smell like perfume was poured all over them. Will use again and highly recommend”
