“I was sharing with friends about my occasional hip and lower back pain, when they suggested I see Tara Johnson who did Bowen work. They explained that she did wonders for them. My first visit, I was skeptical. Just what is “Bowen”? I wondered how just touching me or manipulating parts of my body would help with this pain. My friends told me to give it more than one visit. So I did. The more I saw Tara, the more she told me about the Bowen technique and explained it with the knowledge and experience of someone who has studied this well and knows what she is doing. She also gave me exercises to use at home. Sure enough, I started noticing relief in my lower back and hips. I am happy to say that I no longer wake in the morning with lower back pain or walk hunched over for about 10 minutes until I feel better. She is gentle and firm when she needs to be. I highly recommend her, even though I still can’t explain what it is she does or how it works!”

“I am so lucky to have found Dr. Li! Acupuncture is the only thing that I've found to be successful with managing my chronic pain. My last great acupuncturist moved to Seattle two years ago and I hadn't found a worthy replacement... Until now! Dr Li is the best I've ever had! She is a wonderfully sweet woman who truly cares about my well-being. I've been amazed at the amount of time and care she has for me on each visit. I've been in daily pain for 13 straight years, and this is the most manageable it's ever been, thanks to Dr Li! Her treatments also helped my wife through her pregnancy, as well as naturally inducing both my wife and my wife's best friend. I can't recommend anyone higher than her when it comes to healing your body and mind! Besides Dr Li being fantastic, the chiropractor there, Brent Dixson, is terrific as well. He is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, clearly puts in extra time to prepare for my treatments and uses a lot of different therapeutic techniques. I'm generally anti chiropractors, he's the only one I'd recommend. Finally both my wife and I love getting massages from Jacquie and Stacey. Their lovely people, and also give excellent massages. Oh! Megan and Jessica are wonderful in reception as well. What a clinic!”

“There are not enough words to express how amazing Julie and her staff at Magnolia Gardens are. Due to family drama, I was in an emergency situation where my grandmother needed to be medically transported from CA to Vancouver and QUICKLY. Within minutes of my initial phone call, Julie had called me back and we scheduled a tour for the next day or two. I was completely taken aback by the beauty and cleanliness of her Care Home, as well as her patience with and understanding of our situation. Julie made special arrangements to get my grandma moved in and set up and took AMAZING care of her. My grandma was completely bedridden and stubborn enough to not want to get out of bed. Julie and her staff still made 100% certain that she was clean, well fed, and never had any bed sores from being sedentary. My grandmother lived out the last few months of her life in better health than she had been in in YEARS! I attribute ALL of that to the love, care and compassion the owners and staff at Magnolia Gardens showed to her, as well as the rest of our family. I found the most amazing place to take care of my grandma (whom I was extremely close with) but I also found friends and now extended family with Julie and her staff. There is simply NOTHING, NOWHERE or NO ONE better to care for your loved one.”
