Marguerite Brons Memorial Park

Close to home, leash free parks are great for canine socializing. This one works well for our 2 year old Dalmatian/Pointer.

Great place: as the other reviews mention, the actual fenced area is no great shakes. My dog went in, a male dog tried to hump her, she told him off: meh. The real gem of this place is the latticework of off leash trails. It is fantastic.

Nice dog park with two sections-wide open field and forested trail.
There's a lot of shade. It can be muddy so bring towels. Water's available. Balls and assorted launching tools are near the entrance.
The driveway to the park is sandwiched between thick trees so keep your eyes peeled.

This is a great park for choices. You can have a nice stroll in the woods with your dog in the completely enclosed trails area or you can just hang out in 'Gen Pop' if your dog would rather do that!
