An exciting Historical State Park (Military) where you can spend the day (except for National Holidays). When fully active and all venues are open, you will have to have a Discover Pass. (It's free to drive through, but be sure to check). Should you care to stop and walk around, without the Discover Pass, it could cost some.
Super cool lots to Adventure the old military base structures are pretty awesome apparently you can camp there and there is a lot to explore we probably didn't even get a third of it the underground bunkers and dear and plenty of beautiful views make this a really cool spot
B-E-A-Utiful! I love living on this island and having the SP 2 minutes away. The scenery is unreal. Sometimes you can smell the paper mill in PT, but I think it's just enough to keep the majority away ;]
The park was clean and the camp grounds well kept. The staff were nice. If you're going to fort Flagler and you plan to salt water fish think twice recreational fishing is limited at best not sure what Washington state fish and wildlife came up with but if you've already bought your saltwater license you'll find that it's just as big of a waste as money as I did.
I camped in my trailer in the tent area. Little bit tricky. Soft ground. Amazing trees. Very lush and peaceful staring at the trees. The lower beach area was awesome. Mountain views every direction you look, if weather allows. Cool cliffs. Spent hours at the beach park playground area. Tiny weekend concession stand. Milkshake good, burger very lunch lady made it taste. Not bad for biking around a bit. The main road in is nice and long and wide. My campsite was pretty private and large area near campfire.
