(May 21, 2019, 9:37 pm)I stayed with reSTART at the end of 2013. After graduating college I was confronted with the harsh reality that I didn't have the skills or confidence to take on life. I had been using gaming and the internet as a way to ignore life's difficulties and run away from that reality. When I tried to stop and couldn't, I decided to reach out for help- which led me to reSTART.
My stay with reSTART was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I grew in ways I could have only hoped and left changed.
There were challenges along the way, but reSTART provided a safe place for me to explore who I wanted to be and to learn what a sustainable life looks like. I am so grateful for the time I spent with reSTART!

Not only do they live in one of the most gorgeous, quiet places in the country, but they enhance each resident's quality of life in so many ways. Residents and employees are exposed to all kinds of experiences and real life scenarios in which they learn how to function in this increasingly complicated world. The environment is one of teamwork and support - in all programs they offer. Don't hesitate in involving yourself with these incredible people! Thanks for doing what you do reSTART - keep it up!

The staff and other students create an emotionally safe environment so that significant progress is made. There is also thoughtful and thorough planning for next steps to help ensure that change is sustainable and that emotional growth continues to take place after ReSTART.
