“AKA Log Boom Park, currently under construction with some great features planned, a picnic shelter, boat rental building, easy access to the water with a new beach and better views of the lake, should be open late spring 2022.”

“Beautiful park with the big The Lodge building in the middle. A huge open air playground 🛝 in wood with all for big and small kids. Music 🎶 can be played on the xylophones. Some trails for kids and adults. Bring water and food to spend a nice day outside. Grotto Trail goes from the playground to the lake. I would recommend for kids but with caution. Hiking shoes 🥾 work better. Go to the restroom before taking the trail because unfortunately the restroom 🚻 near the lake was disgusting 🤢 .”

“Beautiful beach, nice bathrooms and what looked to be an ice cream stand. Also a small park for the kiddos. That being said, there are tons of kids here. Great for a family outing. I myself just went paddleboarding with some friends. Parking is limited but plenty along the street. So if you park on the street and have a kayak or paddleboard, you may have a decent distance to walk with it. This park is right off the Burke-Gilman trail. I'll definitely be coming back.”

“This site is to launch human powered boats only. 5 car parking lot. 1 porta potty. On busy weekends, it makes more sense to park on the street so as to not get blocked in by other parking cars in the tiny parking lot.”

“Such a lovely stretch of open land in a densely populated area. I feel so grateful that we have spaces like this! So quiet and serene.”

“Way better than the name would lead you to believe. The park has a paved path through the center, as well as many walking pass through the forest near the stream. The only know I would say about the walking path is that it needs some repair work because there's tree limbs that have attempted to grow through the asphalt. A nice place to visit anytime of the year.”

“This park is clean and well maintained. Basketball hoops and a playground for children are at the park. Good place for a picnic as tables are there as well.”

“Great local park for light hikes and a chance to hang out on Lake Washington. The trails are well maintained and popular. The small beach can be accessed via shorter or longer hikes. Open field for activities. Currently the playground is closed but otherwise it is very nice. The historic building is currently under construction with plans for a hotel and other amenities.”
