Nice beach not over crowded only thing not a play ground for kids and not alot of shade but clean and lifeguards on duty
I did not utilize the bath house itself, but the beach, while small, is a hidden gem along Lake Washington. There is a floating dock about 30ft out, and the water is deep enough for someone of my height (6'7") to not be able to touch bottom.
Pritchard Beach is a family friendly Lake Washington beach with a beautiful view of Mercer Island, and tons of naturally tumbled stones. There are lifeguards during the summer during peak hours, and the kids love the swimming platform. The bath house is only open during peak hours, so plan ahead.
Beautiful, tucked away park. Didn't expect such a beautiful view while I was turning the corner into the parking lot. There's not a lot of Beach area, but it's small and there don't seem to be a lot of people around. Definitely a great place to enjoy breakfast early in the morning!
Beautiful place to bring a picnic blanket and chill by the water for an August afternoon.
Heads up: the grassy area is nice in August but it is also relatively dry (and hard) and angled just enough for you to have to work hard to not slide off your picnic blanket.
Good parking, quiet area, lifeguards on duty (see picture for more info), and great view of Mercer Island.
