“The original ownership and management was amazing fotcghexfurstcfewxyearsxif ownership. Then the cafe was sold to an inexperienced immigrant that tried hard but didn’t really understand the needs of such a business. He sold it to a Korean person who thought he could specialize in his ethnic fare but it was a bad idea and the entire environment was abandoned and everything crashed. No surprise. Such a great concept and first class service that made the CAVU popular lost forever. Thank you Jim Turcott of PDS Engineering for giving us this great little cafe to begin with. Nothing lasts forever though I guess. 🥵”

“Stopped in for a mocha and it was delicious, the baristas were fast and sweet, and the place was cute and comfortable. Even tho I’m not a biking person I’m glad I stopped in! Super nice… oh and the dog wall made my week”

“This for the Starbucks at Alki Beach location. This location does NOT have a drive-thru. The service was perfect as expected from Starbys --- friendly, & efficient. They have a lounging area that really pulls people together. The atmosphere is friendly, classy, & falls in line with the cool high-end beach vibe. Pro-tip: Always double cup because the lid leaks every time in every location on every Grande 16oz hot drink I get. Midas 5-stars for window seating that overlooks the water.”

“Although not my usual Safeway, I wasn't wholly disappointed that they don't carry some of the brand's my usual does, most stores have variety due to their customer base. Coming in the day before Thanksgiving, I was pleasantly surprised to see the long lines moving smoothly, whereas many other stores tend to have trouble with the increased influx of late shoppers.”

“We've only been here under new ownership, so I don't have anything to compare. We've been here a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the good food and friendly customer service. We love coming here for breakfast knowing we'll have a great time, and eat delicious vegan food. We don't know their names but the male servers on Saturday and Sunday opening shifts are Our favorites are the chick'n and waffles and the migas plate. My only suggestion is to maybe add a build-your-own omelette option!”

“A really excellent produce market with tons of local and seasonal options. They also have a good selection of pantry staples and dairy products. The service is consistently friendly. A great neighborhood shop!”

“Four adults went there for dinner. The atmosphere here was very nice. Lovely decor and candle-lit table. We ordered the antipasto plate, which was a little small and didn’t come with cheese but was still tasty. I ordered the pork belly ravioli with truffle cream sauce. The ravioli pasta tasted quite fresh and it was a delicious filling meal overall. My wife got the morel mushroom tagliatelle which was good but didn’t include many mushrooms. Very cool experience overall”

“I really like the coffee here, the friendly staff and the interior. HOWEVER, it drives me nuts that there isn't a menu on the drive-thru. seems like a very easy thing to do, you have to guess what size cups they have, guess what else other than coffee that they can make, etc. it's so frustrating because for YEARS there hasn't been a menu, it doesn't have to be a fancy chalkboard or sign, it can be laminated and hung outside... and if you don't want to include pricing (for whatever reason), fine, but at least make it simple for people to know what you can actually make.”

“Pretty good food in a very convenient location. Good service. On their face, I agree with the reviews below it's a bit expensive for what you get, but it's completely understandable considering the costs of the location, and the Seattle food scene in general not being the cheapest. Therefore I give it 5 stars as it lives up to my expectations. Most venues monopolizing such attraction-centric locations do the bare minimum above merely siphoning off the incessant flow of hungry visitors with no alternative. This one actually makes good stuff.”

“Best prices around town. Can barely find a solid breakfast sandwiche in Seattle let alone for under $7! Latte was great too. Super cute inside.”

“I work in the Seattle central business district and I have frequent an substantial amount of baristas throughout the area for the past 5 years. I can’t quite think of a more inviting loving place then groove city. The coffee is great but the music atmosphere and over all ambiance puts it over the top. This place is conveniently tucked away just south of the hustle and bustle so you can check this place out before your start work if you work downtown. They have great personal my favorite is Amy. She is such a joy. Amy is kind and warm and I look forward to having a cup to start my day.”

“Great little pizzeria. We came during happy hour and enjoyed the smaller pizza sizes which were perfect for our family of many tastes. Service was good and it's recommended to come enjoy a bite here. Parking on side streets is the only obstacle but you'll find something within walking distance.”

“I've been here a number of times over the five years I've live here and have always loved it. The service is outstanding. Even when something was missing, by the time we were about to ask for it, our server brought it out before we could ask. Exceptional quality of food and I also love the kitchen bar!”

“This is my favorite boba place in West Seattle! I go there all the time. The owner is always really kind and the food is great. I’d recommend the okinawa milk tea, and don’t forget a crepe to go with it! They have tons of options. I think it’s really important to support our local businesses. Pearls might not look fancy on the outside, but it’s a great spot in our community. 5 stars!”

“The drinks are great, but my dog and I come here every day just to see Katie. She is so friendly and fun - literally the highlight of our day, every single day! She is so good at suggesting drinks that end up being exactly what I wanted. She is also extremely hardworking and manages so much at once. She very quickly gets customers through while also somehow making each person feel super welcome at the same time. Thank you so much Katie!”

“I had an excellent latte at QED Coffee to kick off my day. Although the location isn't very convenient or central and the price is on the higher side; had I lived in this area, I can see myself come to QED coffee often. Service is friendly if not totally warm, coffee is on point, and they have a good selection of coffee. One more plus for me: they open at 6am (weekdays) / 7am (weekends).”

“This coffee shop is AMAZING! The coffee is great and so is the food. Breakfast burrito is just $8 and is is big enough to share. The ambiance is lovely due to the shelves of lush house plants ringing the interior walls. It’s like walking into a tropical paradise! Their inside seating is closed right now (but looks wonderful). They have picnic tables outside, under the roof overhang.”

“We had an amazing tasting tour yesterday with Don! He is extremely knowledgeable about wine and helped me many times to decide what to taste. I was the odd one out in my group tasting mostly reds and he made sure to go over with both the white wine drinkers and I what we would most enjoy. The wineries he chose for us were all wonderful and diverse. I can’t wait to travel back to Seattle to do another tour with him!”

“I have now been to The Stonehouse Cafe twice and both times have been great! The first time I ate in their upstairs dining area and the second time outside under their heated patio. I recommend their chicken & waffles, State Ave fries, and a Hazelnut latte.”
