“We visit this Home Depot looking for a Christmas Tree last December. We visited other stores before, and the prices were so high... Here we found a nice, beautiful Christmas Tree (not a natural one), for a reasonable price. We also bought a Train and The Start to hang in top of the tree. The staff was very nice, helpful and kind. I was very happy with our Christmas Decoration!”

“I appreciate that along with the remodel of the Nordic Museum they put importance on including a quality café to bolster the museum experience. Unfortunately, while Nordic immigrants have a deep history in Seattle, places that serve Nordic foods are few and far between. Freya is a nice addition to Nordic food in the area. They have a small selection of dishes but they are good representation of some of the foods popular in the Nordic countries. I ordered one of the Danish dogs which is their take on a Danish hot dog. I’ve been to Copenhagen and Danish hot dogs are delicious especially with the remoulade and fried onions. Freya Café’s version I believe uses PNW ingredients and combines it nicely with the Danish concept. The Uli’s sausage was tasty and the curry mayo sauce added mellow spice. The pretzel bun rounded out the flavors nicely as well. As a side note, the older gentleman who brought the food out seemed very kind and personable as well. Freya Café is definitely a place I would just visit even if I wasn't going to the museum.”

“I love Distinctive Cabinets. We had a house fire and decided to remodel the kitchen and bathroom - an overwhelming task! Darcy helped me design a new layout, as well as choose cabinets and counter tops. She also made many helpful suggestions about accessories and other materials. My kitchen is absolutely perfect and a reflection of what I like best, and the bathroom is warm and welcoming. She is great to work with. If I ever remodel again, I will only call Distinctive Cabinets.”

“We are very happy with our bedroom furniture! Our salesperson, Peggy, took her time with us and answered all our questions. She showed us different options using the manufacturer’s catalogs and made sure we had seen all of the sets on her show floor. Her knowledge and expertise were stellar. Our delivery went smoothly and the delivery staff took great care in setting up our furniture. Thanks, Peggy, and HOM Furniture, for making this a very pleasant experience.”

“My father was a carpenter and i've spent a lot of time in the wood shop. I couldn’t make a table like this for the price without pouring 100+ hours into it. You can’t get this type of product for dirt cheap because it's solid wood and they just don’t make em like this anymore. You have to go to a craftsman to get pieces like this. That costs money, usually a ton. We paid about $4k for our table that should be around $10k at one of those fancy galleries”

“We bought a 3.5 x 15 foot walnut slab table that is absolutely beautiful. Eric has a real respect for the wood he uses and can trace my table's wood back to the tree the was taken downfor safety purposes. I also appreciate that he knows the history of the tree as it was living . There was no need to place butterfly keys in our piece to prevent further cracking, but he really wanted to make sure the table felt unique for our family as it would likely be a table that would be in our family for generations. He showed my daughters different butterfly key shapes and wood types that they could choose. They loved that they could be a part of the creative process. And now we have 4 keys that Eric inserted that represents each of us in the family . It's more than furniture for us. We love knowing it's our special family table and admiring the infinite patterns and beauty found in the wood. Eric truly puts his heart and soul into each piece, which is quite evident in the form and feel of his work. Talk to him about the process. Each piece is a unique work of love and spirit .”

“I have been a regular customer of Beijing Arts for many years, sometimes to buy things that I like, sometimes just to look at beautiful antiques here, or just simply to chat with the owner, Ming, who is so knowledgable about Chinese antiques. Every few months, there will be new items on display I read a comment from a review who absurdly gave this store a one star for that reason that the store was empty! I wonder if this person even know that all items were sold to a French dealer two months ago. So if he wants to see new items on display, then come to the store now. Anyway, Beijing arts is a hidden gem of Seattle. Hai Hong”
