“I highly recommend the Constellation! My husband and I lived there for 2 years. It's a quality apartment for a very reasonable price. Definitely the best in the area. It's a short, easy commute to the city and it's close to some great restaurants and shops. We loved being right next to the middle school where we played fetch with our dog on the large, well maintained fields and exercised around the track. Some of the reviews mention trouble finding parking, but we never had a problem and could always find a space. The apartments are very cozy, especially in the winter with the fireplace place going. The large closets and mirrors in the master bedroom were really nice as well. We never had any problems with pests or noisy neighbors and never had any large maintenance needs which was nice. Carlos, the maintenance man, is truly wonderful and helpful as well. At move out, I had challenged some of the charges, but the current property manager, Melanie, was incredibly reasonable and professional and adjusted our final costs accordingly. I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice, quiet, convenient apartment for a great price!”

“I recently moved to West Seattle from New York. My boyfriend and I looked at dozens of apartment complexes in the area and I can say with confidence the Whittaker is the best one. You can't beat the location. The proximity to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, not the mention the bus stop right across the street is incredibly convenient. The bedrooms are spacious and overall the layouts feel much more open for the same square footage than others I've seen. There are lots of community spaces that you can use that are often empty or have enough space to social distance--this is huge if you're working from home. Also NICE appliances, huge sinks and beautiful islands overall amazing kitchens. The staff are on top of everything-- packages are never left out and every common area is clean. The only con I can think to mention is there are concerns with break ins in the parking garage. However, that is a problem anywhere in the Junction. I would say there should be a security guard on duty at all times. I do see one from time to time. Shout out to Emmaly, our leasing agent, who made the move in experience seamless. We changed our minds on the layout and square footage several times and she always quickly adjusted and gave us great options. There are TONS of different layouts here so I really appreciated all the effort she put in to find us the perfect one. Don't hesitate to move in here. If you don't need the West Seattle bridge to get to work it's the perfect place to live IMO.”

“I lived in this complex for three years and only moved recently due to its conversion to low income housing. This apartment complex underwent changes in management several times, and we had an absolutely horrible manager for a while (Dana), who had nothing but lies, rudeness, and inaction for the tenants. Finally, the most wonderful manager was sent to us, whose name is Rachel. She is the best apartment manager I've ever dealt with; a helpful, prompt, clear communicator, who actually got things done! The bathtub refinish and fan that I needed fixed - for the last two years - were finally taken care of. Rachel also helped me quickly dive through the paperwork I needed to fill out during the low-income conversion. I was sad to leave here and am very thankful for Rachel's help throughout my time here. If you are considering this as a place to live, be aware that this apartment complex will be undergoing significant overhauls and remodels for the next several months and will only be available to low income households. The pool is great and will be staying - but it is outdoor and only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.”

“Our time here was so pleasant - the place is small, but functional, and very clean. On arrival, there was a fresh pack of coffee beans in the freezer - nice touch, fresh coffee every morning. The fresh eggs and vegetables were very welcome, and the non-intrusive management was responsive to all needs. Just chill, and enjoy the birds on the seed feeder outside the bedroom window waking you up in the morning, and the deer in the field to the north nibbling on grass in the evening. #fidofriendly but be aware that the perimeter is not secure...”
