Small park across from the old schoolhouse. A pleasant, quiet stroll through the forest awaits.
So much fun with the family and going down that crazy tall and fast slide!
This little park is known by several names by Islanders. It is also known by "The old School House" "Tom White Park" (an amazing icon of the island) and finally "Idie Ulsh Park". So many things to do and see here. Beautiful scenery, nice little old fashioned play area and pic-nic place. Across the street you can enjoy a lovely light hike across one of our many Salmon spawning creeks that the Elementary School uses to introduce new fingerlings to and many types of local flora and fauna, especially if you are a bird fancier!! Bring your tennis gear for the old fashioned tennis courts.
Lastly just a mere few hundred yards up the hill is the quaint "Anderson Island Cemetery". Beautiful during the day then at night becomes a perfect area to star gaze, meteor watch or even do some paranormal scouting. But be respectful! Stay off the many grave sites and only drive on the established drive , one way.
