If you’re searching, for a good transmission shop to take your vehicle to, your search is over at Aamco Lakewood. Fantastic management that should get the attention of corporate. She definitely deserves a promotion and a raise before another company spots for potential and tries to push her away from Aamco.

(September 21, 2022, 8:01 pm)so, we had our Transmission done at another Aamco site, but they sent us to Lakewood because of the issues we were having. It turns out the issue is the electrical system. They kept us informed throughout the entire process, even if it just meant me giving a quick call to see what was going on (the delays were NOT Aamco, but the electrician they had look at the car and even then they had all the info we needed). Because of the issue (Ford Focus, apparently the electricals in the trunk can cause issues throughout the car) I called and asked if they can find the broken wires and just cap them with tape or something to ensure we don't have the issue until I can get it fixed and they told me that it was no problem. They are definitely willing to go above and beyond for their customers and I'm proud to say I'm a customer of theirs.
(September 2, 2022, 11:14 am)Initially the transmission they had wouldn't work with my car so had to order another. That was expedited so I didn't have to wait 3 weeks to get. Once they had the new one they had my car fixed in very reasonable time. The car works beautifully now! The manager, Rachel, was exceptional through the delays and kept me informed! She was always very friendly, professional and courteous, despite my voiced frustrations. The mechanics are knowledgeable and I will entrust my future car repairs to this AAMCO business. They did a superb job with my car!
