“This review is 5stars totally based on the kind service received on telephone from “Brandi”. Her true professionalism and enthusiasm is a rare find. Too many times in the past we have found customer service people to be condescending and seemingly on a power trip but this recent interaction with Brandi was a refreshing welcome. We have been on a payment plan to repay unpaid covid bills but unfortunately didnt realize the payment plan was an earlier date than our regular monthly bill and had paid it two days late last month. We were gone this week out of cell phone range and when we came home discovered our power off. Our new bill still wasnt due so I telephoned TPU to ask for help. I was on hold 1hr/36mins and was really franticly afraid we wouldnt be able to get power restored same day. Brandi however was extremely courteous. She immediately told me she was sorry for our wait and that she would look at our record and see how she could help. Within less than ten mins she had calmly reviewed everything, explained how the automated billing had dropped the payment plan, but gave us options to get back on track. She had our power restored in less than an hour and when We finished our conversation we understood exactly what we owe, and how we will be billed in future. You could hear “a smile” on the phone as she spoke, which is something that set Brandi pleasantly apart from other customer service people. When customers call a business they are in need of help and many times they avoid those calls because it seems like such a challenging conversation. It was a breath of fresh air feeling like it was understood that we want to keep our bill paid and not being treated like a deadbeat for being late two days. I hope TPU understands and appreciates Brandi’s service to their customers- They are likely to have more customers who will understand their billing and be timely because of their interactions with her. Thank you Brandi and TPU!”
