Small little beach. Lots of stairs and walking to get to it. You can smell the salt! Really gorgeous beach. Not exactly convenient in anyway, but lovely nonetheless.
Super nice beach! Two distinct sides around the corner. Sandy and rocky both. But one side was protected from the wind and it was Super hot. Decent parking, but not a huge lot.
Lots of seaweed but it's the best you can get for a beach in Washington. I enjoy time with my kid building sand castles and playing in the water. That's all that really matters.
We love coming here when the tide is low, there's unfortunately not a whole lot of hiking when the tide is high. I would definitely suggest downloading a tide app if you want to make the most of planning your hike and beach time. During the summer months the tide will go out to ~ -2.0 - 3.0 feet which exposes a whole series of sandbars that you can walk along. The dogs and I will occasionally start at Picnic Point and hike down while the tide is still going out. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time if attempting, I've seen several people have the tide start coming back in and sneak up on them.
