“Truely a place of worship where ministers and attendees possess no aire of judgement, contrary to many traditional evangelical styled churches. The unique take on many of the Biblical stories provides an refreshing insight to many stories that have been lost in translation, while including new age thought and practice to improve one's existence. If you try it once, you'll support these kindred souls in their mission. I highly recommend!”

“I didn’t grow up going to church, so I never felt like I was home in a church setting till I set foot in RockCreek. From the first day I attended, I have felt welcomed, and like they truly wanted me there. Not only have I grown in my faith here, but I have seen my husbands faith blossom as well because of the community of people and the Jesus-centered teachings of Pastor Bryan. And my 2 year old is gaining a knowledge and love of Jesus with the help of RockCreek kids. My family wakes up excited to go to church on Sunday. If you are in search of a church to call home, please visit RockCreek and see for yourself how wonderful this place truly is.”

“Whenever someone says you should teach love instead of hate, their own problem is discernment because everywhere in God’s word, God’s love is seen in contrast to hating evil. With that being said let me tell you the love I got from this church. When someone stole my car, Pastor DJ personally gave me the church’s van without any strings attached. I didn’t have to do anything to keep it an never was I made guilty for receiving it and not giving back. With that being said Yahushua was not popular for the right reasons. If you are looking for a church that spreads positivity and has this love not hate mentality, you are actually protesting the core of our calling to spiritual warfare. If you know better than please do teach because ppl will listen and make sure you can put it in the context of what the scriptures are saying. Proverbs 8:13 To fear the lord is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech. Romans 12:9 let love be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. Psalm 97:10 You who love the Lord, hate evil!”

“It seems almost strange to write a review about a church, but this is a very special place. There is nothing new under the sun, but TEC is a refreshing change from what seems to be normative today in the Church. Some churches have all head and no heart while others have all heart and not much head. It's great to go to a place that seems to be balanced. While church styles are different and some like a more or less lively service, I would suggest at least coming a few times to see what is going on. I am just a guy who goes there, not on staff or anything, and our family absolutely loves going to church. Not because we leave all happy about ourselves, but because we were taught the Word and it seems like the leaders are trying to live what they are teaching. That is sadly kind of a novelty today. Come check it out and if I am there make sure you say "Hello" and hopefully I'll beat you to the intro:)”

“I visited Cedar Cross today while church hopping. They recently got a new pastor (this is very common in the Methodist Church) and her sermon was very very good. The community was strong – no less than four people shook my hand and learned my name after the service. Additionally, they seemed to be great friends with one another. Cedar Cross seems very healthy. This week, they raised money for a local food bank and prepared for VBS this week. The music was well-done, though the song selection felt a bit dated. This church is part of the United Methodist Church, so it tends to be more liberal (not necessarily a bad thing). Regardless, the congregation worships God, not politics. I felt the Holy Spirit stirring.”

“My daughter started going to Youth Group with one of my friends. They need amazingly FUN things like fairs, museums, waterparks, trampoline parks, etc...and never asked for any payment or donations from me. A year or two later my fiancee was injured with a ONE PERCENT chance of survival and thats when I met Pastor Johnny Kroeze. He came by ICU once or twice a week and he would pray with us or just Craig-even though he was in a semi.coma. Craig was moved to a rehab facility and Pastor Johnny followed us there and came by regularly...and Craig grew stronger every day. I've no doubt in my mind prayer is what got him through. The 1st place Craig went on his day out of the facility was to church. Because my friend and daughter still went to SECC, I slowly started getting involved in her class and with the kids and adults. I cannot stress enough how KIND and LOVING the members of this church has been to my family and I. I'm in NO WAY a "joiner" yet I find myself WANTING to help because I WAS HELPED. If you're looking for a church, I would really take the extra time to look further than surface ( the church is gorgeous inside AND out tho) and have some conversations with the people inside.”
