“This church has a kitchen and social reception area that is rented out to the local Marysville Rock and Gem Club. If you would like to join the club, the meetings are at 7 p.m. starting in September, always the second Tuesday of every month. Although, during Covid-19 lockdown and last year there were no meetings. The kitchen and hall area are all in one room and it accommodates around eighty or more club members. You leave it clean, just like you found it. The cost to be a member of the Marysville Rock and Gem club is ten dollars a year per person or twenty dollars a year per family. The next club show will be held at the Monroe State Fairgrounds on the Saturday and Sunday of October's first weekend! Free admission and a ticket for free prizes drawn on every hour! Glorious club displays of lifetime passion for rocks and minerals! A children's table only for a Silent Auction and many fantastic items for sale. Vendors selling slabs of stone, amber, fossils, Silent Auction tables of specimens and food vendors! Remember, this show is at the Monroe State Fairgrounds on the first weekend in October. Entrance is free! The church has Marysville Rock and Gem Club parking for the meetings in the back of the church. If you need more information about rental costs, please call the church office. They are very accommodating. We are very thankful they have begun renting the hall again. Do one nice thing for someone today, enjoy the fresh air and be kind!😄”

I reach out to the community and have a community dinner Wednesdays 5 to 6. “I've been searching for a little while now for a new "home" church and believe with all my heart that the Lord led me, and my son and his family to this community of believers. So loving and welcoming, down to earth and real! No pretense here. No crazy loud music, strobe lights and a rock star preacher. But at the same time filled with life, the Holy Spirit, nothing boring here! Just a come as you are with all your problems, brokenness, and with the little or big faith you may have...the way Jesus loves and accepts us! Pastor Andrew is the son of the first Pastor I ever had, Tom Ferguson. I have such great memories of Pastor Tom and those early days that I walked with Jesus. Andrew periodically announces "Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I present to you, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords - Jesus Christ". We all then cheer and whistle as loud as we can. He figured, and so do I, if we can hoot and holler for sports teams, celebrities, etc...mere human beings, then why shouldn't we do that even more with the Almighty God of the Universe. After all, He is the epitome of Fame and He is eternal. I love Hope Church (appropriately named) and 'hope' they continue that practice, and just being a genuine, loving church! Five stars for sure!
