“I did not get a chance to cruise the whole store but the clothing department was fantastic! I found it a tad hard to get around with a cart in the department but was so smitten with the clothing it made it okay. I mainly looked over the pet section as I was there to get bird seed and suet. The prices were terrific and my wild birds are quite happy. I also had come because of the sale on a suet holder but they were out and teh nice woman in charge helped my out with another. It was great! There may have been a run on wild bird seeds and such as the shelves were quite depleted in that area but at their prices, I can see why. I also almost came home with three new bird houses! I will definitely get some there when I can, they have a terrific selection and some really affordable prices. The snacks and candy by the register were great and I just saw sop many things from that point that I wanted to go investigate but walking around isn't that easy for me, so I will go again. The store was nice, the people were very friendly and helpful and I can see myself as a new client for many things. It may have been a brief spin but I felt great in the store and got exactly what I needed! I have no ranch or farm, I spend a lot of time on the balcony birdwatching and tending to their needs and taking care of some plants. It is the highlight of my day in the mornings and now that I have a place I can dedicate to at least my birds, I am very happy! I can also see myself wearing a lot of their clothing, which I found to be quite stylish and modern, well made, well priced, and varied. Some things perfect for the farmer and rancher, some perfect for a an artist who loves spending time taking care of the roughly 30 bird species I see and can mostly take care of. Great place!”

They struggled during the pandemic. I would come and the pharmacy was closed because they didn’t have enough staff. it continued after the pandemic got better but I realize we also lost a lot of people to COVID, so it makes sense it’s been hard to staff places still. The stars would be 5 if I just dealt with Albert. Unfortunately I have had bad experiences with a pharmacist at one point. Albert is wonderful.”

“Allison is the owner of this salon and I have been going to her for about a year now. I have blond highlights done and don't like harsh bleach products to damage my hair. When I first went to see her, my hair was a mess!!! Another salon ruined my color and Allison knew just how to fix it!!! She has been flexible with my crazy schedule (I have 3 young children). She is personable and professional. She listens to your requests, clarifies and double checks. She even cut my children's hair and did a fantastic job! “I worked here for over three years until the end of 2022. During that time, I held different positions, including in leadership, and interacted regularly with both the front end and pharmacy staff. In the entire time I worked here I can count the number of genuine racism displayed by staff on one hand and still have fingers left over. Those individuals are no longer employed at the store. Employee safety is a top priority for management, especially in the rough and difficult neighborhood this store is in. Management have spent the entire pandemic communicating with and attending to customer concerns. Unfortunately the pandemic lead to an increase in the amount of theft, homeless and drug addicts in the area, which added a layer of difficulty for leadership. The management at this store cares deeply about the employees and the customers and works extremely hard to ensure both are safe and satisfied. There will always be individuals who misunderstand situations and policies, especially when they lack longevity, work ethic, professionalism and experience. Retail can be a difficult field to work in and when you're new to it sometimes finding workplace satisfaction can be difficult. I learned a great deal during my years working here and I am incredibly grateful for the personal and professional growth I experienced during that time. My family has always shopped at this store, most recently today when my niece came in and walked out very happy with her red nose. Please keep in mind that retail staff are humans too and deserve to be treated kindly and respectfully.”

“5 stars for the bakery - nowhere else in Monroe (at least outside Main St) has daily (twice daily sometimes) fresh-baked, FRESH bread from an in-store bakery. It's so much better tasting than the packaged/brand name loaves. The Italian loaf is my favorite, but today they also had garlic & herb French loaf. And they sell it sliced and unsliced. The bakery staff are really nice and helpful. Because it's fresh bread, it will go stale after one or two days. This is kinda what I want as it means it's not full of random emulsifiers and stabilizers to keep it "fresh" for weeks on end (like the branded loaves in the normal supermarket aisle).”

“I’ve been doing a drive up pick-up in this location several times in past month and I am very happy with this location. One of the reasons is that their inventory is well taken care off. It’s very up to date, especially around Christmas time. Sometimes (very rare) they can be off by 1-2 items if I’m getting like 15-20 items, but if it says in stock 20, 99% time I would get those 20 items. Other local Targets are always way off with inventory. Would say 10 items in stock for pick-up and when the order is complete, you end up with 100% out of stock. Lake Stevens is really good with inventory, hope they keep up like this all the time. It’s so easy to pick up items, workers are friendly and the process is very quick so I keep coming back to this store, even if the other Target is closer to my home.”

“Pretty nice location but miss the McDonald's near front entrance and the selection a lot better than the other Marysville store. I saw a lot there than normally do not see. Floor layout is also wider so easier to get around in aisles if it is busy. The restroom was open in front entrance and clean. Also I really appreciate how one worker saw it was busy and offered to open extra check stand without someone requesting or waiting for someone else. I really appreciate her for doing that as we quickly were checked out.”
