Fun hike

Great hike and beautiful views. It cuts in to the Appalachian Trail. Not a very busy hike it can be a bit of a hike if your not use to hiking. About a 6 and half mile hike. It’s a great day hike. You get a little different view of the town then maryland heights.

Great hiking and views. The Appalachian trail ties into a few side trails that offer views from clear cut power line paths. Fortunately there are no nearby parking areas( closest being Harpers Ferry National park to the North and keys Gap off Rt. 9 to the South ) so if Maryland Heights is too touristy set out on a day hike on Loudoun Heights.
