“Update. After getting a second appointment I really liked the staff and Dr. And we finally have answers about my son. My son gets car sick and after an hour drive they refused to see him because they can’t tell if he is actually sick. We waited 6 months for this autism evaluation appointment. They refused to take his temperature, because they don’t do that. But they said we could come in and use a room to change his clothes. Worst place I’ve been too. He has never been turned away for getting car sick. They also called me 3 times the previous Friday with 3 different appointment times, that were left on my voicemail.”

“Amazing and caring staff here! Very very on top of all medical needs & you actually physically see & talk to a Nurse Practitioner every single day you are there! As well as video appointments with a therapist weekly if not more! Very clean environment & living space! Smoke breaks hourly! Detox is rough but I see why they do it the way they do! Group meetings all day long, 8am-930pm every single day(some learning, some music, some games, some coloring or journaling, some patient picks, and some therapeutic)meal breaks(3-30 minute meals) & smoke breaks every 10 til the hour! Lots to drink, healthy snacks, you keep your cellphone on you at all times!! State provides meals, snacks, drinks, cigarettes(yes smokes), transportation, hygiene, medication, and even clothing or shoes if you have none!!! I met the most amazing & the most kind hearted people at this place! Thank you Northwoods and thank you STACEY for helping me get into Rehab as fast as you did! 5-7 people within 2-3 days she got placed! Thank you everyone for your kindness while I was in such an emotional and fragile state I was in & being new to that type of assistance! Prayers I never have to come again but will choose your facility if I have to 1,000 times over!!!”

“Where do I even begin? My health started declining rapidly in January this year, and despite multiple visits to my primary care physician, I wasn’t getting the help I needed. My symptoms were severe—chronic diarrhea up to 8 times a day, constant stomach pain, facial numbness, heart palpitations, daily panic attacks, blurry vision, and much more. My PCP kept attributing everything to anxiety, increasing my medications, and even prescribing schizophrenia medication as an anxiety treatment. But nothing improved; in fact, it only got worse.
