“If you are a Historian efficienado and want to learn more about the history of glass, then The Oglebay Institute Glass Museum is the place to go. It does cost to go experience the tour. It is not overly priced. Very informative, there is a video that you can watch, and you can hear the video throughout the museum as you explore and read the description of the pieces that you are looking at. I just wish I would've taken more photos than what I did.”

“The first and best toy museum so far I've ever see I love seeing all the toys from different eras, including a few from my own childhood.I also love the free pinball machines. Playing those games was awesome. My favorite room so far was the doll room, the miniature room, and of course the game room . I also, the kinetic room was good. I also like their little mascot named Loo, a cat that lives there. That's why I rate it five stars it's like walking back in your childhood in that museum great place to visit”

“The guy that runs it is extremely nice and helpful. My son absolutely loves riding the train. He just turned 2, but when he gets older, they have the little hand cars for the older kids. Everytime I go there, the kids always seem like they are having a blast on those. Plus there's also the museum, which is really awesome as well. This place has been open since I was a little kid, and now I get to take my son there!! Hopefully my son will be able to take his children there as well!!”

“Built to be the home of Robert Harper, the founder of Harpers Ferry, this place is notable for being the oldest surviving structure in town, completed in 1782. Unfortunately, Harper died before he could move in and left it to his niece. Stop by if you're in the area.”

“We stopped at this museum as part of spending the day at Harpers Ferry...and I have to say it was one of the more thought provoking things we have done in awhile. How does one protest something you believe so strongly? The displays are a little dated (for $7, it’s still a great deal)...but the topic seems particularly relevant to today. Highly recommend a stop if you’re in town. You could probably spend plenty of time, but the 30-minute walk through was well worth it.”

“If you want to find out the history of education progress in the USA then you must visit this small museum. The exhibit is very informative about the foundation of the college that provided education regardless of race or sex. Unfortunately its demise resulted from another advance in education: Brown v Board of Eduction. Additionally at this museum is a short history of the Niagara Movement with some terrific photographs. Included is also info about the founding of the NAACP.”

“What an incredible mock-up of a weapons manufacturing facility. It appears you could turn the belts and start making a rifle at any time!”
