(August 31, 2024, 9:21 pm)My granddaughter wanted to go to a park she hadn't been to, so I drove around Eastside, cuz I knew there were plenty of little playgrounds. Went to Droster park too, as well as Monona dream park, which was ideal, as they had a bathroom, haha.
(July 31, 2023, 8:04 pm)Nice little park in a quiet neighborhood. Newer equipment, nice climbing areas. Basketball court (bring your own ball).
Nice prairie restoration area adjacent to a pond that was completely filled with what looked to be wapato plants (I didn't get close enough to be 100% sure). Also, known as "duck potato" and "arrowhead", the plant was a staple of first peoples and commonly sought after by foragers.
