“It's not a Sendik's (no carpeted floors) but it's pretty darn close. Much better than the local big box grocery stores. HUGE selection of wines, and also good on beers and liquors. Great choices for cheeses. Produce is good, and love the variety of pickled stuff. Fresh and frozen meats, poultry and seafood also better than average. Just wish the floral was built out a little more. This is our "go to" grocer.”

“I dropped in by chance, just Google Maps finding because I was in the area and outside of my county, so no idea what I was going to find. I had in several countries (not counties) and locations a broad range of experiences when dealing with gun shops, I am very happy to say, Max Creek Outdoors is a little gem. From the moment I parked in the back parking (too many cars parked in the front one), I could see the building was serious. The entrance is a kind of unassuming, so I entered with no idea what was expecting me: some time you see a shop that looks like more a supermarket, sometimes you can tell immediately it means business. I spotted a selection that made me feel I was in the right place. Then I worried about the attitude of the staff, also considering the shop was pretty full of customers, and the contingent situations of COVID and recent social tension. I understand shops more than usual may face weirdos, so they try to do a bit of screening. Staff, in particular the owner, were simply GREAT. He made sure to understand our concerns, provided guidance and advice (all SO correct and thoughtful, so I understand he knew his business), he even kindly arranged to have my wife and me test similar models in the range, so we could make a more educated purchase. Our experience was memorable and VERY POSITIVE. I strongly recommend Max Creek Outdoors.”

“Alexa helped me get the look I’ve been wanting for years. I’ve had lashes for years as well from other businesses but haven’t been able to find anyone that was able to work with me or take the time on me I’ve been needing. I was always told I was doing something wrong and that’s why my lashes weren’t staying. Alexa reassured me that with everything I do to maintain my lashes, I just needed someone to take their time and she did just that. I’ve had no issues with them staying since. “Tanner was a great trainer! Workouts were not overly hard, but challenged me to strive to do my best at doing them correctly. Meal plans allowed for making choices based on preferences and were not overly hard to follow. Accountability, support, and encouragement were all there with trainer check-ins and online group with fellow participants. Great recipes were provided, which I loved what I tried so far. In two weeks, I've gone from a mainly sedentary person to working out almost every day. The exercise itself has made me feel like I weigh much less than I do....lol.. All in all, a great experience I've enjoyed so far. I would recommend it to others.”

When I turned 16 it wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice if there was public transportation available to go into Madison.”

“I went through the drive through in Oregon, WI. I ordered 1 Impossible Whopper, 2 regular Whoppers and an 8 piece jalapeños poppers. As I pulled out, I took what I thought was a popper out of the bag and took a bite. It was a chicken nugget!!! I immediately spit it out. I took it back in the store and they gave my poppers, which were sitting right there and said they were sorry. THAT DOES NOT CUT IT FOR ME!! I have been a vegetarian for years. When I knew it was chicken, I was disgusted. That would be like giving an alcoholic a glass of wine and told him it was grape juice. With that first sip, all their sobriety would be gone. If the staff would have been paying attention, this would not have happened. I feel sick to my stomach - literally!!! I am sure you do not understand my repulsion to murdering animals for human consumption, but I feel angry and a "I'm sorry" is not enough. *** Update 4/27 I received a very concerned and polite email from the head of Burger King in Madison. He totally understands how I felt as he is a Vegan and has had that happened. He will be sending two coupons for any item of my choice. I wish all companies were as positively reactive as he was.”
