(May 17, 2021, 9:42 pm)Beautiful, shorter hike with amazing views and lots of wildlife! Found a few mushrooms and new (to me) species of flower.
(April 24, 2021, 9:10 am)Nice place to walk among a varied woodland and what could be a beautiful piece of prairie.
The forested segment of the trail here is hilly with an unusual variety of trees for the relatively small area.
The upper portion of the trail currently circles a agricultural field that would be a real treasure if it was returned to prairie. From the high point of this section you can see from Blue Mounds to the Baraboo Bluffs.
