The forested segment of the trail here is hilly with an unusual variety of trees for the relatively small area. The upper portion of the trail currently circles a agricultural field that would be a real treasure if it was returned to prairie. From the high point of this section you can see from Blue Mounds to the Baraboo Bluffs.”
