“I had to go to Alden because of having a wound vac on my leg. I was not happy when getting there. I hated it. I thought it a horrible place to be in fact I got to my room and I didn't unpack my bags I walked out. As I cleared my head,I went back in. Boy was I glad I did. They have one of the best nursing staff I have ever seen,they truly care about you. The activites staff can not be beat. They try to get you evolved in the many things they have going on every day multiple times a day. Therapists were great they work with you and try to help you do your best. The food was good there menus for every day and if you don't like what they will be serving the have a alternative men . All I can say if I would ever have to go back into rehab again,which I hope I never have to I would go back to Alden”

“The folks that run this place are very hospitable The hotel is run very well. I left some valuable personal items in my room by mistake, and was nervous when I returned because I expected housekeeping to steal my things. They did come in the room and cleaned it, but not of my things. All my stuff was neatly set on the desk and the bed was made perfectly. Nothing was taken, even cash I had left out. They did, however, collect the money I put in an envelope to tip them. My car broke down while here in ft worth and I went to some local store and got the parts and from another store the tools to fix it. I didn’t ask permission, I just did it, but I repaired my car (replaced a half axle) in their parking lot. They didn’t complain or call the police or anything like a hotel in San Diego would have. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town. The breakfast is good too. Towels are starched stiff, just like I Ike them. Great little hotel. I couldn’t get the tv to work tho, but that may be operator error, I don’t usually watch tv.”
