“Kennoshs Wisconsin history at it's best. Closed for the winter but docents are great presenters of one of the few remaining Keeper's homes and separate brick signal beacons. Two story home with stairs. Light House is not for the weak kneed! Wonderful 360 degree view.”

“Great under-rated place in Kenosha. A lot of people don't know or forget about this place. If you like local history, it's a must. Even if you are just walking downtown and want to escape the heat for a little while.”

“This is a wonderful museum to bring students as part of their Civil War unit at school. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the program they created for the kids is very good. The 360 degree theater was amazing! I also love going to the gift shop for the unique items they get from WI crafters and businesses.”

“Great little place to learn about native people of the Midwest. The have large scale dioramas of native people with explanatory signage. Also, some good fossils from the ancient earth. Dramatic stone wall in the large entry area is a big architectural plus. Their donor wall on the second floor is sharp. Glass squares of varying sizes based on donor. I used to work in fundraising, so that was interesting to me. And, free!!”
