“We were drawn to Falcon Glen by the curb appeal of the buildings, beautiful grounds and a safe neighborhood. Love the location to stores, restaurants and the freeway. We sold our house to downsize. First rented a Coach condo style apartment, which was very nice. When an Estate apartment opened, we decided to move to the larger unit, staying with Falcon Glen. The office staff-Sam, Sarah and Michaela are so very friendly. They answer and follow through with any concerns we have. They are an absolute pleasure to deal with. The maintenance staff- Jesse, Sam and Lenny are very professional and friendly. When a work order is submitted, it is completed within a reasonable time frame, at times-the same day. Always, an excellent job. Can’t say enough good things about Falcon Glen. Ralph and Kathy”

“Milwaukee overall is an expensive city to live in. Some people love the inner city while others love the suburbs. My husband and I moved into Rivershire apartments about 8 years ago. They have the newer ones across the street and the older models on the other side. We lived in the older apartments and we didn’t have a problem with them. They’ve done some changes/remodeling each year in our apartment. From carpets to patio doors to new washer/dryer to new bathroom tile and new toilet. It’s a work in progress and they give enough notice. Rent is not bad at first but it does go up every year and this goes along with any apartment you rent in Milwaukee. We personally lucked on wonderful neighbors. It’s a good dog community and there are trails in the back to go for long walks/runs. (Rootriver parkway) On every walk around the apartments or on the trails you would find baby raccoons, deer, geese, ducks, coyotes and so much more that nature has to offer. You never felt you lived in a busy area close to hwy 100. Each apartment has a garage and 1 parking spot. You can park in the front but it’s monitored by the city and you’ll get a ticket once in a while if you don’t call in your vehicle for night parking on the street. Kassie C is the manager and was very helpful through the years. She responded to our calls and emails promptly and addressed our concerns. Peter who is one of the maintenance employees was so helpful and wonderful. We will miss his help with any of our apartment issues.”

“I've been here for over a year and it's been a great experience. Management has been out of my life but always there when I call. The tenants are friendly and generally quiet. The location is just far enough away to be quiet but close enough to get where you want to go and it is on roads well traveled enough to get plowed quickly. The only downsides are the apartments are pretty small and there isn't in unit laundry.”

“I really loved American Colony Apartments! The grounds were kept super clean, snow was plowed every chance! The management was always super helpful with me and maintenance orders were usually fulfilled within a week of me calling. There was a problem when I first moved in with the AC not working, but the management was kind enough to lend me multiple air conditioning units until it was fixed and helped pay for the WE Energies bill that was high after running all of them! I've been living here for just over a year and haven't had any problem with bed bugs as other reviews suggest, although I do keep my apartment fairly clean!”

“We were looking for a house out of state. Just didn’t know where to start. We had Sandy Ertel as our realtor 25 years ago to find a house for us. She was excellent so we tracked her down again to find us a house out of state. She was with us every step of the way. She worked with us in a way that didn’t make us feel overwhelmed. Instead of us going back and forth, out of state looking at houses, Sandy offered to go and look at the houses for us. She video taped all the rooms. Sandy went way above and beyond what was expected of her. She is on the ball and always thinking ahead. Very knowledgable and knows all the laws inside and out.
