“Beautiful, serene and infinitely more then it seems. A place where live concerts happen. Where there is a beautiful marble monument in commemoration of those who passed in WW1. Where you can see turtles, cranes and ducks waddle about. Where you can fish or on the same dock see the raindrops hit the water be transported to a painting by Monet. Where at night u can see teens practice skateboarding and messing around with there peers. Where countless dogs and family play, learn and live. Some parks are simple affairs like the dull wings of a moth others are vibrant and alive like a Morphinae.”

“Lots of fun!! My son and his wife came to visit, from northern Wisconsin, they brought their 2 dogs along, it's close to my place, so we met there, as I figured it would be a good place for us to meet up, as their dogs needed a place to romp, after a 3 hr car ride. Everyone loved it, esp.... the 2 dogs.”

“Very nice park. Excellent walking/biking paths along the lake. Some nice picnic areas, and during the summer the farmer's market on Saturdays is great. The South Shore Terrace Beer Garden is great, decent food, plenty of drink options and a nice event space.”
