“Disc golf review for the short 9 hole portion of the course. The N9 course is great for beginners and a satisfying addition to the other main 18 holes. Sometimes 18 holes just isn't enough. There is a mixture of short and long holes and a few technical holes as you get into the woods. Signage at each of the concrete pads maps out the multiple pin placements (picture show short pins only). Each sign has a screw next to the pin placement on the map so there is no guessing where the basket is. The course wraps around in a giant oval. Getting lost here would take some serious effort. This is a pay to play course. If you don't have a yearly pass, you'll need to go to the chalet parking lot to get a daily pass. I recommend to get your monies worth out of the daily pass, play all 27 holes at that point. Because it is pay to play, the course is well maintained with little to no garbage on this 9 hole section. Baskets are moved frequently as well, giving different looks and options when playing here multiple times throughout the year. The course gets busy on nicer days but the majority of users practice good etiquette and usually let you pass if need be. Early mornings are a great time play.”

“Beautiful, serene and infinitely more then it seems. A place where live concerts happen. Where there is a beautiful marble monument in commemoration of those who passed in WW1. Where you can see turtles, cranes and ducks waddle about. Where you can fish or on the same dock see the raindrops hit the water be transported to a painting by Monet. Where at night u can see teens practice skateboarding and messing around with there peers. Where countless dogs and family play, learn and live. Some parks are simple affairs like the dull wings of a moth others are vibrant and alive like a Morphinae.”

“Great place to rent. The rental was easy. We had a 70th birthday party . Tables were already set up. Full kitchen. Air conditioned. Large enough to hold at least 60 people. There were tables outside too. A playground near by for the kids. I would recommend this place !”

“Beautiful park nestled between Brown Deer, Glendale and Milwaukee. Lots of open space, great for playing fetch with your dog, throwing a frisbee or flying a kite. There are even some trails to hike on through the woods offering up some stunning views. Add in the frisbee golf course and traditional golf course and you’ve got a great park. As of writing, they are completely replacing most of the roadways in the park but there are still places to park your vehicle. I come here frequently with my dog who loves it! She and I highly recommend it!”

“Great neighborhood park. The area northeast of the stream is a natural area with prairie grasses and trees, the rest of the park is flat open grass with a small tot-lot at the south end. There are a lot of benches along the path making it a cool spot to watch planes approach or the trucks go by on I-94. (No picnic benches, just ones for sitting down.)”

“I'd say that LaFollette Park is a pretty great place to visit or take your kids to in the summertime. As long as they're wearing their masks and maybe some latex gloves because of all the covid BS they should be fine. The park is usually pretty clean and the people that you find there are almost always friendly and nice to meet. The children really seem to love it there The equipment at the park is in pretty good condition and also has a decent variety of active equipment from swings to slides. If you live in the area I definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourself, your kids will love it and it will also give you a well deserve break!”

“My son and I had a great day in a peaceful park! Cooper Park is conveniently located in a secluded area off 87th and Chambers so it's quiet and not overly crowded. We spent hours there without a lot of traffic while he learned to fly his drone. Awesome afternoon!!”

“This is such a wonderful park & there are so many things to do here: family reunion, romantic picnic, or family picnic,, romantic stroll, morning jog or walk. We had our family picnic here a couple of summers ago & it was awesome! It's huge & also has roofing with no walls or doors with picnic tables in case it rains. It absolutely perfect!”

“The park is currently OPEN! At least it was as of 08/04/20. EDIT- closed as of 08/08/20. Nice State Park that usually isn't very crowded. It has rest rooms and a few benches as well as lots of shade trees to lie under if the mood strikes you. It's on a bit of a point so you have great views of the bay and it usually catches some wind so it's nice and cool.”

“This small park oasis was donated to the county from a real estate developer and the pathway was designed by the County Supervisor at the time who drew influence from renowned architect Frederick Law Olmstead. Omstead's vision of sweeping pathways for the public to recreate on without constant interaction with others, affords walkers peace and solace without ever leaving the city.”

“This spot is usually very quiet, as most people who travel along this road are probably heading towards one of the parkers further up the road, or they're going to Pine Flat. I went during springtime and was pleasantly greeted with lush green grass, large oaks and a lazy Kings River meandering it's way down south. If you follow the trail North, you'll eventually come to a weir where you can stop and dip your toes in the water. I managed to catch a wonderful sunset with my dog while I was there.”
