But, the service isn't always the greatest and sometimes you are waiting in line for 20+ minutes when there are several other clerks available to check other people out. “Team leader Stephanie is amazing. I had a difficult situation with false advertising and Stephanie was more than extremely helpful. She resolved my issue quickly and efficiently and she is the ONLY reason I will shop there a second time. I initially felt scammed by shady advertising to enter the store in the first place; but team leader Stephanie resolved my complaint in a very satisfactory manner. I may not shop here again because of the corporate scandalous advertising, but if I do it will be because her stellar customer service skills were above and beyond her pay grade. Academy would do well to promote her as an example of people skills that make the customer experience worthwhile.”

She approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything, and from there she was so helpful! I came in for hair bleach, and toner, and left with tips on dealing with dry scalp, and products to avoid to improve hair issues. She gave application advice for the bleach, and helped decide which toner was needed. She was such a big help, and the end results were great! I cannot thank her enough for her help.”
